Iris has obtained degrees and certificates in 5 fields from multiple prestigious universities (including Top 10 US universities and No.1 European Business School) and has worked for top firms and leading research institutions (e.g., Saint Laurent Paris HQ, Kering, BCG, JV of Fed Chicago, Duke, Wharton, Johns Hopkins) in 7 countries (USA, France, China, Singapore, Netherlands, Canada, and Brazil). She has led worldwide projects and managed different types of teams (e.g., research scientists, engineers, analysts, artists, product managers) both in-person and remotely. In previous positions, she reported directly to the President of the International Input-Output Association, provided strategic recommendations to the C-suite level at luxury brands, collaborated closely with multiple well-known artists and producers, and developed innovative methods to solve challenging tasks for the global 500 companies.
As an award-winning research scholar in international business, marketing strategy, consumer behavior, and applied economics, Iris owns multiple international Tier-1 (A+) publications. Her previous research projects have been supported and sponsored by HEC Paris E-Lab, MIT E-Lab, influential digital platforms, and internationally renowned luxury brands. In 2011, Iris was interviewed by the expert page of a popular Chinese newspaper, an honor she shared with the Dean of a Top Chinese Business School. Moreover, her co-authored book was elected as the “2012 Annual Excellent Social Science Book” by the China Academy of Social Sciences when she was 25 years old. In addition, she has mentored students in MBA programs, and in 2015, her solo-authored paper was reviewed as one of the “5 Lessons from American Marketing Association Winter Educators’ Conference”. Iris is also a reviewer, member, and active presenter in the American Marketing Association (AMA) Conferences and the Academy of International Business (AIB) Annual Meeting (the attendees and presenters include PhDs and faculty members from HBS, Stanford, NYU Stern, and industry experts, top management from Google, Facebook, etc.).
In music & high art, Iris was elected into CMA & CCTV’s Junior Musical Talent Records at 12 (Selectivity: 0.03%). She went through music auditions at top music schools in the United States. In the past 20+ years, integrating her knowledge and experience in different areas (economics, music, information systems, marketing, and strategic management), Iris has played various roles as an invited performing artist, art consultant, music consultant, invited co-producer (company/group level invitation), and content director (above-line decision-maker of content production) at historical attractions, fashion show, world-renowned auditoriums, leading publishing group, and the premium channels of influential digital platform. As a primary contributor behind the scenes or secondary contributor in front of the scene, Iris has performed and collaborated with internationally well-known artists, designers, and musicians (e.g. Grammy Award Winner, Latin Grammy Award Winner, President Award Winner, Lifetime Art Award Winner) across 4 continents.
